Attorney Amanda E. Peters

Ms. Amanda Peters assists with the day to day operations of Blue Water Legal.  Most of her duties include preparing discovery and documents related to settlement negotiations.  Before her employment at Blue Water Legal, Amanda worked at the Law Office of William D. Hochberg.  While there, she worked as a paralegal to assist injured workers under the Longshore Act and Washington’s Industrial Insurance Appeals.  In addition to those duties she continues to observe, Amanda was also the primary client contact for her cases.  She enjoyed getting to know all of the people the firm represented and is looking forward to being more involved with the clients here at Blue Water Legal.

Amanda just finished her legal studies at Seattle University School of Law.  While at Seattle University School of Law, Amanda’s studies focused on classes relevant to a trial lawyer practice.  She also helped an immigrant get asylum.

Amanda earned her undergraduate degree from Eastern Washington University.  She graduated summa cum laude in 2005.  While there, she concentrated in vocal music performance, but also studied instrumental music, literature and various languages.  Since her graduation, Amanda continued to work with high school music students.  She taught leadership camps in the summer for high school music students.  This workshop focused on teaching students how to lead their peers while improving their own skills.  Amanda believes her background in music, literature, language, computer programming and other life experiences have informed her career in the law.
